Old, If you have wood post at the gate, they make an insulator that nails or screws into a wood post that sticks out about 6 inches. Could you put on on each post close to the ground and put a insulated gate handel on it? Unhook, toss to the side when you go in, hook back on the way out. Just an idea if you allready have a hot wire there. My uncle keeps two live box type traps in his garden all summer. Hauls two or three a week 10 miles up the road. He has very little damage. I have enough dogs around that they do not get to close to the house. Coons run off, slick tails try! Good luck and tell us how it works! Dave
