The "old folks" must be related to the same old farts down here that do the same thing. I don't think they even sit down and think about what it costs them. We were selling for 2.75 delivered, and not really making anything. We only did it because we had the hayand didn't need it, we needed the money, and the market was ours if we wanted it.... but I wouldn't call it lucrative. If we didn't want to make the hay, it would have come from somewhere else quite easily at that price. I really scratch my head when I watch some guys buy round bales next door for 20 bucks a bale, haul them home, roll them out, square bale them, and then turn around and sell the idiot blocks for 2.25. My math isn't good, but I can't see how those numbers work... Rod
