I work with the stuff for a living. Here is how if break it down. 1. structural repairs, use glass cloth and epoxy resin. Try to do the repair on the back side out of sight. Also won't leave a bulge that has to be faired in to look good on the outside. 2. Cosmetic repairs. Us bondo or make similar by mixing talc with epoxy resin to the desired thickness. Fill and sand, prime and paint. Bondo is only a cosmetic filler.
