Dad would give a quarter for each dead ground hog in the 50's. Used steel trap at the den entrance. Every once in a while I would trap a stripped kitty. Made for some interesting moves and no pay on skunks. Live trap and cat food work on many critters. KTC chicken and live trap and you can't keep the racoons out of it.

Get a dog.
