Shut down like power shut down? Or blue screen of death with some codes just before it shuts down? If its power, then I'm guessing at power supply. If its blue screen of death, then down, use your Windows CD to repair it. If you can, save as much of your personal documents to some other medium, like CD, thumb drive, etc, because if you try to repair it with your Windows CD, might end up formating the drive and re-installing against your will. Could have a virus too.
