I sold 100 bales last year for $2.00 bale, delivered. This year I may up my price to $2.50 with the increase in fuel. I would charge more, but I only sell a small quantity to cover my operating cost for fuel and twine, not to make money from my daughters friends parents. I charge $3.00 for straw, just trying to clean out the barn from the last three years. Average in my area on the west side of Indianapolis is $4 - $5 for straw, $3 - $5 for hay depending on grass/alfalfa and the quality. Rounds were fetching $30 - $35.
