If you are not concerned with AM radio reception. Running non resistor plugs and solid wires reduces places where something could go wrong.
Everybody has come across a phantom miss fire that was caused by a otherwise good looking and good testing resistor wire.
As for resistor plugs, after a few run ins with resitor plugs that throw a fine spark in open air. Then won't spark when installed in the engine. Non-resistor plugs are the 1st choice here if possible.
