IaGary Gooday y'all . MikeM is 1/2 right - Plant a Walmart on top of them - cause that's where they are comming from . Mark-MD is 1/2 right - the Parrot seed no-doubt containing thistle seeds may be sterile BUT That's not what I observe . I have 180 pr of breeding Parrots . I have a strict " MAKE-TIME ' regimen of containment ( for all my neighbours sakes ) . I only grow them in a shed covered with both 100 % shade-cloth plus a layer of very fine wire fly-screen and harvest them & feed them back to my Parrots. That's where the $'s are !! I'm not saying the following you will like or want to hear however it is " the way it is " Parrots thrive on thistles = Healthy parrots are happy Parrots and breed lots of healthy/happy baby Parrots = Very happy owners who spend Millions of $'s/yr in the US , Canuck-land , Europe & down here buy Thistles . That is where the money is & lots of it . There are 10's of 1000's of Parrot owners in the US . They spend ( foolishly or not ) millions of $'s/yr on their very spoilt pets . On my old(er) age pension I couldn't afford this small rural property & couldn't think of having this MF 165 & slasher ( my new love-affair ) let alone buy the diesel & oil to run it , if it weren't for the non-taxable profit I make from my Parrots . Not trying to start an arguement here just trying to think out-side-the-square ( some say outside this planet ) Was only trying to help - Highland-cowman says his cattle can't get enough of them - so sell all the thistles to him & make some $'s ( 1/2 tongue in cheek - 1/2 the truth ) Do remember - Many a truth said in jest & 'der's money in dem-dere hills . Gary , you would be suprised I'm sure that a lot of Parrots ( some as pets & some as breeders ) sell for $ 7 1/2 to $20 thou dollars US for a 4 month old baby . I know all this must sound " out-there " with the tooth-fairies " but there is a fortune in that lousy Thistle weed of yours . Ciao from down-under , james ( oh & I'll stay here -you'll say - for sure , for-sure )

What Oil Should I Use? - by Francis Robinson. I keep seein this question pop up over and over again in discussion groups all over the web. As with many things there are often several right answers and a few wrong ones. Some purist I'm sure will disagree to no end with what I will tell you but most of us out here in the real world don't really care do we ? Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You
