I have been watching the bees in our fruit trees in the yard.Although their numbers are down they are active. They dont like cool temps or wind. You have to watch on a hot day. They seem to favor red blossems over white.I usually plant some buckwheat to draw them to the garden.Whatever the cause of their reduced numbers we are in deep trouble without them.Gas prices are small change compared to food shortages.I notice bumble bees are scarce also. You cant eat money or paychecks.Credit cards will be hard to chew.
