Similar thing happened when my mom was starting to go into labor with one of my older brothers. Dad went to start the Monte Carlo, and when ma came out to the garage there was just white fur everywhere... I'd imagine there was a good deal of blood too, this cat didn't make it. Took a couple tails off with the milker motor though, they lay on it then I used to never check before hitting the switch. Most cats weren't very lucky.
