MF - thanks for the insight. Yes to power steering. Larger wheels on the back. I can probably get the alternator charging (it is disconnected) with some help from the Forum folks. It sounds like it would be worth some time and money to make the loader work? I can do it, just tired of dinking with it.

I bought it nearly 10 years ago (first tractor, and only) for $4200 and the loader worked then. Not sure about the alternator. It works fine for a bushhog tractor and I just through the battery charger on it a few times a year.

One more question - should I try an ebay auction or just put it in the newspaper here?
