I have a couple of fields where the red clover came up voluntarily and it yields really good, it is harder to get dry because of the thick stems. It bales up good if dry, but will look less green than an alfalfa bale because of the flowers color and also the leaves don't hold the color real well, but I always find a market for it or feed it to my own horses and cattle, has a lot of nutrition in it, comparable to alfalfa.
