I have a Fordson Major and I wonder if you are able to offer any advice on the trouble I am having with the gear lever.

The gear lever continually pops out of the gear selector, and the �well� in the selector that holds the end of the gear lever seems very worn, almost to a deep �saucer� shape, clearly unable to contain the gear lever when under any pressure.

I wondered if there is there such a thing as a repair kit for the gear selector, to make a deeper retainer for the gear lever?

Any advice you can offer will be much appreciated.
