Replaced the belt on mine, and it slipped ended up smoking the belt, finally got one from the dealer. 1. I didn't have the twists right as already mentioned. 2. I think the factory belt is different from a standard "A" belt that you buy at the hardware. Haven't had a problem since, and mow some pretty deep grass now and then. Bogs the tractor first. Rick
