I mowed about 3 acres yesterday with my RM-59 and John Deere M tractor, nice little combination. Check all your belt pulleys for any misalignment and or rust or corrosion, a rusty pulley will eat a belt in short order. Also make sure the belt is installed correctly per your owner's manual. If you don't have a manual, you can get one online and print it from www.woodsonline.com You must have the correct twists and routing of the belt or it will not survive.
