First of all I don"t know where you are. It Southwest MO where I am I would let it lay until it is fairly dry then rake it as loose as I could. If it is raked when rained on raise the discharge end of your rake up about 10 inches you may have to play with this a little and turn the windrows by raising the outer end it will scatter the hay some and help with the drying.
