we had been wet earlier now has turned dry. we get a couple of warm days than goes back to cool. it is to be in 40s over night the next few days.
i think i'm going to need to buy more hay as grass is pretty much at a stand still.
i'm still putting hay in front of cows. if i let them have just grass they would be soon have it shorter than my lawn. i have talked to a few other guys that run some cows and they told me same thing they're putting hay or silage in front of cows.
we need some warm rain and temps.
shifting gears i got an e-mail from old we need to pray for him and family as his dad is not doing well.
