Long time ago bought a junker 60's something Ford Falcon (I think) for $50.00.. Drove it for 4 months before I discovered why the radio didn't work. Yep the battery had been installed backwards. Connected it properly and wow everything that didn't work started working. Not sure why it didn't blow the radio and don't remember polorizing the generator but must have.
