The beans are Round-Up ready ie tolerant of round-up. The field will green up with grass and weeds of all sorts and beans as well, though it will be hard to find the beans. When the field has had a couple of showers and some time to allow any weed seed in the germination zone to emerge they will hit it with round- up and anything that is not a bean will die and he will have a nice clean field of beans. It is a real slick system.
