MANY YEARS AGO WHEN WORKING IN ENGINEERING DEPt. at Hiniker cab factory we needed to roll a 1466 IHC. with cab. We atached a rope to clutch and a string to kill switch and ran them out back window about 30 ft. We then pointed tractor toward embankment, tied steering wheel, one man on ropes and ran it up side of bank for a side roll-over. As soon as front end started climbing steep bank it twisted tractor enough that rear wheelspun out. Killed tractor with string, repositioned and tried again. Next time when front started climbing the bank turned tactor to drive straight along bank. Killed tractor, repositioned and tried again. Long story short we had a hell of a time to get that thing to roll. We had engineers calculate all the risks before hand and only did it to get roll-over protection certification on cab. There is no way I would intentionally roll tractor if I did'nt have to. To many things go wrong in everyday life without tempting it. Don't do it.
