Sounds like the float is bad or the needle vale isn't shutting off the fuel all the way. Either that or the electric pump may be building up too much pressure for the needle & float to control. Usally an eletric pump will pump fuel until the carb bowl is full and the needle valve closes. Then the eletric pump builds up to 3-5psi or so and shuts off. Properly done, the pump can be left on with the engine not running without flooding. Different pumps have different pressure ratings, yours may be too high or your needle valve and float are not right. Just a thought, hope it helps. Paul
