srayer tips

I am new to the sraying area. I have two srayers which I spray round up and 24d. I have noticed that there are many types of spray tips and I am confused about the different colors and what that represents. I asume it has to do with the amount of liquid applied. I now have the red hypro tips on my srayers and wondered if I should use another for different applications. Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks
