Or add exceptions if you want specific traffic to be able to pass.

With corporate guys calling the shots, you may not be able to, but if it appears disabling zonea alarm cures the problem, I'd uninstall it.

I've seen several cases of "pieces" of the software still interfere, even when turned off.

You DO need to keep antivirus up and running though.
