Glenn, The engine in your Cat 2 Ton is probably a International engine from either a McCormick Deering W-40 wheel tractor or a McCormick Deering T-40 TracTracTor as the IHC crawler tractors were called at that time. The left side of the engine has the gear driven governor with the magneto driving off the governor shaft. The verticale oil filter is directly behind the magneto and the fuel pump is at the rear of the left side of the block. The carburator is on the right side of the engine. The W-40 was rated 44.80 belt hp and the T-40 was rated 45.94 belt hp. The shipping weight of a McCormick Deering T-40 TracTracTor was 12,000 lbs. Your Cat 2 Ton must be a pretty big tractor and weigh a whole lot more than two tons. Hope this information helps. Harold H
