The transmission and torque tube are separate. Factory transmission fill was 7 gals of SAE 90 gear oil. I am using SAE 80-90. Factory fill for tractors using the torque tube as a hydraulic reservoir was 2 gals of SAE 5w, 10w, or 20w motor oil pending ambient temps. I am using a general purpose hydraulic oil year round. Factory fill for tractors not using the torque tube as a hydraulic reservior was 2 gals SAE 90 oil as used in the transmission. Joe
