Hi;
Have you got the tractor hydraulics set on depth control which allows the plough to follow the ground at the depth you've set on the lever.
You may have got the hydraulics on position which means the linkage will set the plough depth to whatever place the lever is set, ie lower lever = lower the linkage goes down.
Look in your operators manual for correct setting of position & depth lever controls.
