You must not have the plow set right or your points are worn out? I've never had to adjust to make the front plow go in the ground & have the back one out?? Something has got to be wrong there. Adjusting the toplink should angle the plow & or point from front to back, not control the depth of the front plow. You may need to adjust your draftlink up or down?
