Amry-dillos are mostly nocturnal. Also where theres one there usually more. They always have four offsping of the same gender. I leave for work hours before daylight and always keep something loaded and handy for yard invaders as I come out the door. I gave up the .22 and went to the 12 ga. as the darn things had the annoying tendency to run under the house to die, and man nothing stinks like a dead diller. I leave 'em alone in the pasture, but if they're digging in the yard or burrowing under the house or barn they got to go!
