I have exactly the same situation here in Tenn. Average quality hay is selling for $3.50 here. I just finished a cutting last week after the cooler weather allowed the crop to come back enough to cut it. Even though there was no signifigant rain. It will cure but it takes a little longer, so pick your weather closley. a foggy damp morning can just about ruin most of a day. Cut in smaller quantities. It takes longer, but less chance of ruining hay you can't get up.There is no more growth after the first frost.
