A few years ago I dropped a 18hp Briggs Vangard V-Twin in a Deere 140. Took a little doing, but not impossible. Works great. I have a complete written description of the project. Drop me an email, and I'll send you a copy.
[email protected] Cost was very close to the cost of replacing the old 1 cylinder Kohler. With the new engine, you get 2 cylinders, pressureized & filtered oil, etc. Much updated engine.
