A lot depends on how big an area you have and how good you want it. If you want a golf course green no the cub /A/B is not the way to go but if you have say 5-10 arces then ya it will be ok but also a ford 8N and brush hog will do well

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
