Some machines like Fourneys didn't have a fan. The transformer could hum also. Now that you've got a fancy helmet and a new chipping hammer maybe you want to compliment it with a nice new DC welder. You'ld be amazed at the difference and go on a fabricating spree. We could then drool over all your cool pictures of labour saving implements. Dave
