I have a smaller shop, 24" wide 34" long and I know there are better systems but I use a Miller Gun Mobile Home type furnace. Shoots air out the bottom. It"s on a raised platform. They are usually easy to find used in good condition. I have $275.00 in whole system and I absolutely love it. Northern Vermont gets cold occasionally. 20 to 40 below zero. Have a Goodun.
