When using the crank bolt, the balancer does not go on as straight and true as we like to think, that and the key will slide or push its way back as we torque on the bolt especially with the balancer/damper not being true. Seen alot of guys use a impact to pull them on with the bolt too, makes me cringe. You can shop around, but link will show what you need, there are others that have more to them for pulling and installing, has more bolts etc in them.
