Wayne.........I'm with you, kneesies ain't what they used to be. Surprizingly enuff, I recommend HARDSHELL neepads 'cuz they don't soak water/oil and you don't feel that gravel nubbies. My pads have elasticized velcro strap'ems. I un-zip the top straps when kneeling so I don't cut the circulation off. Use top & bottom straps when walkin' round so they don't flop and fall down around yer ankles. And my pantsies stay so clean (grin)........Dell
