OT: Liquid Manure Spreader

Hello, Looking for an anwser for a question that I don't know where else to ask. Need to rebuild a rusted out 3000 gal liquid manure spreader on the dairy. My question is I was told they use a special metal to resist the acid in the manure, and that regular steel would not last. I don't belive it. The spreader is made up of 1/4" 4'x8' metal. I know it's not stainless.
Any ideal what it could be made out of. I belive I can rebuild it at a fith of the cost of new. Thanks
