injection pump timing

Hello we hav two generator sets with White Engines. One is a 6cyl model d298er the other is a 4 cyl mosel d198er. We are putting an injection pump in the 6 cyl and need to know the timing of the injection pump. We have ordered a tech manual but are still waiting on it. Any help would be appreciated.
