MF 232 stress crack - Horizontal support beside ho

Has anyone had the side support crack on a MF 232 loader. It has crackd at the U-channel that is beside the hood and engine. The crack is in the vertical area in line with the front edge of the angle welds in front of the main post. My interest is if anyone has been successful in adding additional metal to beef up this area and/ or if this is a common problem. From the location of the crack it appears it may be caused from backing up and turning with a load raised and the momentum of the bucket swinging sideways.
