I have tapped into the return side of dozens+ loader valves to operate differnt equipment including backhoes. Most valves are set up for power beyond and pressure builds up without damaging loader valves. One thing you do need to be sure of, is that the backhoe has its own relief bypass set up. The GPM rating is usually at 2000 rpm engine speed. So by not running engine wide open you won't be putting out the 26 gpm on the backhoe.
