Hi Gang; Also used on the turf farm is this New Holland TM130 4wd on oversized turf wheels & tyres. The grower is on light sandy soil, sows 220 pounds per acre of seed, and can harvest in 12 months from date of sowing. Mixture is 40% chewings fescue, 40% creeping red fescue, 10% hard fescue (gives deeper green colour) & 10% browntopp fescue. He grows some of the highest quality turf over here. Several growers have tried to use Kentuky Blue grass in their mixtures but this wont grow over here. Will post photos of his turf harvester rig soon. Cheers David
