Hi Gang;
Also used on the turf farm is this New Holland TM130 4wd on oversized turf wheels & tyres.
The grower is on light sandy soil, sows 220 pounds per acre of seed, and can harvest in 12 months from date of sowing. Mixture is 40% chewings fescue, 40% creeping red fescue, 10% hard fescue (gives deeper green colour) & 10% browntopp fescue. He grows some of the highest quality turf over here.
Several growers have tried to use Kentuky Blue grass in their mixtures but this wont grow over here.
