my buddy has a 7.3 non turbo and it out lasted the truck. the cab and rest of the body rotted out and he replaced the whole body, but the motor has 330,000 miles on it and still strong. the only bad 7.3 story i have is my uncles but he ran it on biodiesel and he beats the hell out of his stuff. he needs ether to start it every morning and he never gives it enough time to warm up before taking off
