The 7.3 may or may not have had a turbo. If it is a turbo, it will be more motor than the 460 with better mileage. Without, a little less motor, but better mileage than the 460, but with the added plus of putting an aftermarket turbo on and having close to a powerstroke for power, along with being able to sell it if you want. Try selling anything with a BB gas in it right now... 7.3 Powerstroke has different heads and injection system, but essentially the same block.
