I always looked at this way the person selling the item owns it and do what ever he wants with it. If I want it bad I put in a good large bid that is what i think it is worth then sit back and wait. If I get out bid well that was my max I put in so I guess its like any auction sometimes you get outbid. I had some pistons on ebay a while back never got a bid so when this local guy wanted them I pulled the item and sold it to him, had there been a bid I would not have done that.
