Keep in mind having the proper 6 volt coil on 2010s is critical. Many generic coils will result in a bad starting engine in cold weather. I don't think we ever had as many headaches with ignition systems on any other Deere gas engine as we did with the 1010/2010 series. Use the correct coil, and make sure the resistor bypass systems is working. The original was built into the IGN switch, but Deere later updated it to a different setup.
