and why. Face across front of tractor. Place right hand on hood, like you were going to push. Grasp crank in left hand, about nine o'clock or higher and pull over. The why is, if the tractor kicks back, it will pull crank out of your hand and you will be pushing yourself away from spinning crank. If you are standing in front of tractor and pulling up and it kicks back it will tend to pull you into spinning crank. I did not watch video long enough to see if he got it started.
