Maybe in some places, off the main roads, but I think he was blowing smoke. Progressive Farmer just named Barren County/Glasgow as the best place in the country to live. Lots of growth in Bowling Green area. Oil and gas leases are hot there too. My cousin just sold a 3/4 acre lot with no improvements for 35000. As you get over toward Albany, I dont know. Seems like if you could get away from the lakes and tourist influence maybe, maybe on that end you might find something. 2000-3000 an acre in there might let you do something on a larger tract.
