I don't know about that part of the state, but land prices in cental KY are sky high. There is a lot of development going on. I don't see how this can keep going like this. Farms that I thought were high in the late 70s at a thousand dollars an acre is now anywhere from 3 to 8000. Depending on were it is and whether it is sutible for housing projects. 73 acres about a mile from here brought 385,000 dollars and now new houses sit on it. Was once a Dairy farm.
