Sorry about your loss Shep. And for Walt,
I had tatrachardia (sp?) or what you described as overspeed of the heart due to having a what my Doctor described as a "short" or a second trigger. Mine didn't go quite as fast as yours , but enough to cause discomfort and in effect the potential for clots due to the inability to pump the blood. I don't know how old you are, but I was able to take "propaphonene", a drug that regulated things to prevent that from happening. I eventually had surgery as the drugs you can take for this problem eventually have or can cause issues of their own. For a permanent fix they go in a do an oblation of the bad spot causing the problems. Surgery is similiar to getting stents, except in this case they just run wires in do the work and take everything out. It was an overnight stay. Maybe an option for you. (I'm 40 myself)
