I put a bullydog programmer in my 2000 stroke. Hoping for better mileage. It had 50, 70, 120 hp. settings. It definitely gave it more power. No better mileage. Started harder, idiot lights started coming on. Leaked more oil than usual. No idea why. After talking to a couple mechanics, decided to remove it. Don"t know about chips. Hope yours works for you.
