If Ford followed Navistar's lead, the Powerstroke would have less not more power. The experts will tell you that many of the problems with the 6.0 are caused by Ford's programming on these engines. The same engines with different (more conservative) programming are not having the same problems in International trucks. As for the chip problem, they sent you the wrong chip. It is for a different programming strategy than what your truck has.
